Lucy achieved the highest marks in her cohort in both her MA in Medical Law at King’s College London and the Bar Practice Course at the Inns of Court College of Advocacy. From April 2026, she will be accepting instructions during her second six months of pupillage at Serjeants’ Inn across the full range of practice areas.

Lucy has been supervised by Clare Hennessy, Michael Mylonas KC and Oliver Williamson, and will move to the supervision of James Berry KC in June 2026. She has gained experience in all areas of Chambers’ work including clinical negligence, court of protection, inquests and inquiries, police law and public law. During pupillage, Lucy has also attended with John De Bono KC in a clinical negligence trial on liability, and Claire Watson KC in a court of protection case concerning a declaration of death, and the Nottingham Inquiry.
