Michael Mylonas QC and Mike Horne in Termination case before CoP

In a ruling delivered late last night, Mr. Justice Holman ruled that a detained patient suffering from bipolar disorder had the capacity to litigate and to decide whether she should undergo a termination of pregnancy. Michael Mylonas QC acted for the NHS Trust and Mike Horne represented the Applicant. The Judge heard evidence late into the evening because of statutory time constraints on the performance of abortion.
