The Times’ Brief quotes Ian Skelt in Robinson v Chief Constable of West Yorkshire Police case

The Times’ Brief has cited an article written by Ian Skelt for the UK Police Law Blog about the widely publicised case of Robinson v Chief Constable of West Yorkshire Police, and quoted him to the effect that the case “goes to the heart of when a duty of care will be imposed on the police for the performance of their operational duties … The news is very bad if you are a chief constable. The news is very good if you are a claimant (or defendant) lawyer.”

Ian Skelt acted for the appellant force in this case. He was led by Jeremy Johnson QC.
