James Berry addresses national Police Integrity conference

James Berry addressed Capita’s national Police Integrity conference in London. His talk explored the legal framework for police integrity and how the disciplinary system is designed to protect and promote public confidence in the police. He identified the key learning from his experience presenting misconduct cases for a number of years: that Professional Standards officers should be of the highest calibre and should be thoroughly trained in the complex law they are expected to apply.
