Clare Hennessy instructed in Cherry Groce inquest

Clare Hennessy represented Hertfordshire Police Force at Southwark Coroner’s court in an Article 2 inquest concerning the death of Cherry Groce.
Cherry Groce was shot by Metropolitan Police in September 1985, which prompted the Brixton Riots. The shooting rendered Ms Groce paraplegic and led to her death in May 2011. No criticisms were made of Hertfordshire Police Force by the jury.
The inquest lasted just under two weeks.
