Andrew Hockton successfully defends leading endodontist at GDC

In a hearing before the Professional Conduct Committee of the GDC, Dr A, a well-known endodontist, faced a potentially career-ending allegation of sexually motivated conduct towards a patient. It was alleged that Dr A made inappropriate comments and indecently assaulted the patient during a private consultation. All the facts were found not proved and it was determined that Dr A’s fitness to practise was not impaired. Andrew Hockton was instructed on behalf of Dr A by Stephen Hooper, Clyde and Co.
