Mark Harries KC acts for woman accused of laundering bitcoin derived from a £5bn fraud in China

The defendant has gone on trial for laundering bitcoin derived from a £5bn fraud in China committed by her employer, having been charged with three counts of money laundering on behalf of another woman.
She has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
The trial is being heard at Southwark Crown Court and is expected to last until early March.
