Claire Watson appears for Appropriate Authority in case against PC found guilty of gross misconduct

Claire Watson has appeared on behalf of the Appropriate Authority in a police misconduct hearing concerning a West Yorkshire Police officer who has been found guilty of gross misconduct. The allegations concerned sending ‘inappropriate’ Snapchat messages to a vulnerable 14 year old girl in July 2017, the day after he met her at a children’s home.
After a two day hearing which concluded on 31st July 2018, the officer was dismissed without notice for gross misconduct.
